This webinar will present options for health systems to eliminate faxing and move toward the electronic exchange of health information between providers, payers, patients and more. While fax has traditionally been viewed as a secure method for data exchange, it presents security risks when faxes are lost, misdirected or delivered to unauthorized recipients. Manual processes involved with faxing are also time consuming and cost prohibitive.
This webinar will review current options to capture disparate data (patient scheduling, insurance, clinical and financial information) and integrate it to the patient record for enterprise access and exchange. The presentation will reference outcomes from health systems in paper elimination, improved care coordination, time and cost savings.
Lynne Hildreth, Director of Patient Access at Moffitt Cancer Center, will present how Moffitt has implemented these strategies to eliminate paper faxes and manual handling of patient records. She will share how automation has reduced the cost of operations, improved workflow and provided downstream benefits for the organization.
